Spicy Lobster Sauce

As much as I love a good old-fashioned Sunday red sauce, I do like to spice it up from time to time. This recipe is perfect for a romantic night in and doesn’t take as much effort as you think but will make an impression.

Ingredients:

1 pound linguni

3 cloves of garlic

3 tablespoons evoo

1 28 oz can of whole peeled tomatoes

red pepper flakes to taste

salt to taste

dried parsley flakes

1/2 cup dry white wine

3 - 4 lobster tails

Directions:

In a large pan, add oil, garlic, red pepper and white wine. Let simmer for 3-4 minutes.

Add tomato sauce. I like to put my tomato sauce in my blender to mash it up but you can also do it with your hands.

Add salt and cook covered on low heat for 30-35 minutes.

Put a large pot of salted water on to boil.

Uncover your sauce and add the lobster tails in. Cover and cook on medium heat for 5 minutes, 10 if they’re frozen.

When water comes to a boil cook your pasta according to package instructions.

Uncover your sauce, take out the lobster tails and put them on a cutting board. Crack the shells down the middle with a knife and pull the meat out. Chop the meat up and add it to the sauce.

Add your linguini to the pot of sauce. Toss to coat.

Garnish with parsley and more red pepper flakes.

Buon Appetito!
