Lemon Garlic Shrimp Linguini

If you’re having company over and you want to impress your guests with minimal effort involved this dish is the way to go. Just make sure you make enough, I promise everyone will be looking for seconds!

Ingredients:

1 pound of linguini

1 pound of shrimp

3 tbsp evoo

6 cloves of garlic sliced thin

juice from one lemon

1 tbsp lemon zest

1 cup reserved pasta water

salt to taste

1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley

optional: red pepper and capers

Directions:

Fill a pot with water, add salt, put on the stove on medium heat until it boils.

In another pot, add the evoo and sliced garlic. Cook until garlic begins to brown

Add lemon juice, lemon zest, shrimp, salt, pepper and capers

Cook until 8-10 minutes on medium heat

Cook linguini according to package instructions

Drain but don’t forget to reserve 1 cup of pasta water

Add linguini to sauce pan then add pasta water and mix

Plate immediately and garnish with fresh parsley
