Garlic Knots

I love getting garlic knots from the pizzeria, but you know what’s even better?! Making them at home! They’re pretty easy to make and great to add to your homemade pizza nights!

Ingredients

1 pizza dough, can be store bought or you can use my dough receipe HERE

4-5 cloves of garlic

2 tbsp chopped parsley

1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil

salt and pepper to taste

1/4 cup grated parmigiano

Directions

Take your dough and turn it out onto a floured surface. Make sure there is enough flour so the dough doesn’t stick

Cut the dough into 1/2 inch strips. Be sure to flour each strip before making the garlic knot so it doesn’t stick to your hands

Fold the dough over your fingers like you would make a knot with a string and tie the dough. Fold the outside pieces of dough under the garlic knot and place on a parchment lined tray

Repeat this process until you finish all of your dough

Bake your garlic knots at 400F for 20-25 minutes or until they are a bit golden brown at the top

While they are baking, add your garlic, parsley and olive oil to your food processor. Pulse until everything is finely chopped. Next, add salt and pepper to taste and your grated parmigiano

Once they are done, immediately put them into a big bowl and coat them with the olive oil mixer. Make sure to toss them until all of the garlic knots are completely covered

Enjoy!
