Quick Pizza Dough
As much as I love authentic Napolitan pizza dough, I don’t always have 6-8 hours to let my dough rise. That’s where this quick rise pizza dough comes in handy!
Yield: 2 pizzas
Ingredients
3 1/2 cups 00 flour
2 tsp salt
1 tsp sugar
2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
1 1/3 cup warm water
2 tsp active dry yeast
Directions
Start by adding your yeast to the warm water. Set it aside and allow it to bloom for about 5 minutes
In the bowl of your stand mixer, add your flour, salt, sugar, and extra virgin olive oil
Gently mix it to combine everything
Next, add your water with yeast to the stand mixer and start it on low
Once everything is combine bring the speed to medium and allow to mix for 10 minutes or until you have a nice smooth dough
Add the dough to an oiled bowl, cover and allow to rise for 2 hours
